The Wine of Cana alcoholic or unfernented "new wine" ?

Did Jesus Christ ever sin ? The Bible says _1st Peter 2:21-22; ___Hebrews 4:15______.

Does the Bible recommend or condemn alcohol use as a beverage ?

The Bible says __Habakkuk 2:15; Psalms 37:9 ; Psalms 37:22; Romans 13:13 ; 1st Corinthians 5:11; 1st Corinthians 6:10; Galatians 5:21 ; Revelation 21:27 __.

If Jesus Christ made water into wine in the Bible, did that wine have alcohol in it ?Does the Bible outright describe the condition of that wine, to say if it has alcohol or not ? The Bible story of water into wine. John 2:1-11

John 5:40 If you came to Jesus to get life and got death instead, would it ever be safe to come to Jesus ? Jesus came to bring life or death , which ? John 10:10 _____

In the Bible there are many kinds of words for wine, but only two types of wine.
1.Unfermented alcohol free wine, whether freshly pressed or reconstituted from a preserved state.
2. Fermented wine that contains alcohol. All “strong drink” of Scripture = fermented beverages, not all wine in Scripture was fermented, some was fresh or reconstituted juice from dried fruit or boiled down fruit syrup.

Sin is the __1 John 3:4__ of the law . (God’s definition of sin.)

Did Jesus ever serve the Devil ? _John 8:34-36; ___John 14:30; _Hebrews 2:14 ; 1 John 3:8

Strength of sin is the __1st Corinthians 15:56__ (God enforces the penalty of sinning.)

Wages of sin is __Romans 6:23 __(Where will Hell fire and Satan be, what happens ?)

Jesus is the One man Who obeyed __Romans 5:19; 1st Corinthians 15:21-22__obedience of One........made alive.

If Jesus Christ sinned, could He take a sinners place on Calvary, and be unable to be held by death, and raise from the dead, like He said He would ?___(sin creates blemishes/damage/death) (“without blemish”= 40 Bible Texts & 37 refer to Sanctuary sacrificial animals s as offerings prefiguring or pointing to a Saviour/Messiah’s vicarious sacrifice, and resurrection and intercession ) Ephesians 5:25-27 & 1st Peter 1:13-25 ___Ezekiel 18:4 , 20___(any soul that sins dies), ___Acts 2:22-27___(He would have stayed in the tomb if He had sinned. All others who have sinned stayed dead unless Christ raised them back to life, or Christ kept them from dying.)

If the Cana wedding feast wine had alcohol, Scripture is violated by it’s Author, Jesus can not save you, if He sinned, Father God could not save Him from sin in the only humanity available to Him, Abraham’s descendent’s flesh. He would have been a defeated God; conquered by Satan. Scripture says _Hebrews 5:7 (.....save Him from death.....) That death = the willingness to disobey and actual disobedience and it’s results.

If Jesus never sinned, and Scripture says alcohol drinking is sin, and giving alcohol to others to drink is sin, then what conclusions about the Cana wine is the Bible leading you to ? (your answer)___________

The obedience & sinlessness of Jesus Christ according to Scripture + Scripture’s declarations toward alcohol drinking = unfermented wine created from water at the wedding feast, by miracle. What do you think about trusting the only Someone Who conquered Satan, death, and sin of all kinds ? Like to know more ?

An early Bible Study about wine & issues of all forms of physical / spiritual intoxication and understanding issues regarding wine, and God, and the feast of Canna.

(Present day synopses: If using physically intoxicating substances or spiritually intoxicating opinions, spiritually intoxicating teachings, spiritually intoxicating doctrines - is ok then we could find somewhere in Scripture and S.O.P. where Jesus created them and advocated their use. But if Jesus Christ’s teachings in Person and through Biblical Era and Modern Prophets, and His personal example condemn, deny and forbid all forms of physical and spiritual intoxications - then all forms of physical and spiritual intoxication are part of the things that defile and as such are rooted up by God. Re this defiling & uprooting of it and it’s corrupt teachers, see these references.
What defiles a person Matthew 15:1-20 & Mark 7:1-23;

defiling yourself being God’s human dwelling place1st Corinthians 3:10-23;

violation of your conscience by others taking advantage of you defiling it 1st Corinthians 8:1-13;

The Ten Commandment’s job is to deal with jangling false teachers of false doctrine that is contrary to sound doctrine and describes them, and the difference between ignorant sin and knowing iniquity and shipwreck of faith 1st Timothy 1:1-20;

True Bishops or Pastors are revealed and contrasted with false ones that are defiled and cause defiling of the congregation - Titus 1:1-16 and Titus 2:1-3:15 is the way to resist them and their work.

Council in Hebrews ch’s 11& 12 - so that the forms of defiling and the root of bitterness be prevented, or detected and healed or dealt with.

Councils in James ch’s 3 & 4 RE the tongue and it’s use of edifying or defiling and the prevention, remedy, and cures. {{TM 125.3}, repeat quote{PH086 19.1} EGW reference James ch’s that are a dead letter to Adventists .}

“Read the second chapter of James. Practice the truth in your daily life and you will know the work that the Lord has given you to do. Read also the fourth chapter, especially verses 5-12; and chapter 5, especially verses 13-20. These chapters are a dead letter to the larger number of those who claim to be Seventh-day Adventists. I am directed to point you to these scriptures, and to the seventh chapter of Matthew. You need to study every word as for your life. {TM 125.3}

Jude speaks of these defiled people and their influence inside the House of God.

Revelation 3:4 tells that Churches can cause and allow defilement unless they do the teachings of Jesus with diligence, it is still possible to stay in the Church God has established and not be defiled it was possible in Sardis. This defiling or this becoming clean and staying clean involves the character, for the vision of Joshua and the angel (Zechariah 3:1-10 )involves the symbols of dirty garments changed for clean ones and this explained as a character change - causing iniquities to be taken away. Iniquity is deliberate chosen sin which requires a work of character to enter into, this involves cleansing of the conscience / character and more than forensic Heavenly record cleansing. Sardis/garments/character.

Revelation 14:4 Defiling women(False Churches and their official stand - message - teachings, and the sealed who found the true woman - True Church and got and remained undefiled abiding within her official stand -teachings-message. God created and gave this good woman/Church & gave her His official stand - message - teachings - they justify seal sanctify prepare for glorification, not imitations from the false woman. ) (Scriptural use of woman as a symbol = good woman = symbol of good Church / Jeremiah 6:2; 2nd Corinthians 11:2; Romans 7:4 ; Revelation 12:1-6 . Bad woman = bad Church / Revelation 17:1-7; Jeremiah 3:1-11; Isaiah 1:21-31 .

Revelation 21:27 Here is why I said all this in the synopsis - Nothing defiled enters Heaven, because God uproots and destroys it before it gets the chance, but He spares His people who are His children in heart and works and covenant. Zephaniah 2:1-3:20 ; Matthew 15:13; One of the facets of Jesus’s mission to Earth is to destroy Satan and ALL his works Hebrews 2:14 & 1st John 3:8 and that excludes all human followers and human followings of Satan before or during the Second Coming - thus no one defiled could defile Heaven, they don’t get the chance.

Understanding issues regarding wine, and God, and the feast of Canna.
1. Did Jesus ever sin? -1 Peter 2:18-22.
2. Was Jesus always subject to God the Father? 1 Corinthians 11:13; John 8:28.
3. Did the Lord ever stray? Zephaniah 3:1-5; Hebrews 5:5-9.
4. Was Jesus ever froward? 1 John 3:5-8
5. Did Jesus ever endure grief, being forced to suffer wrongfully; because of the wrongs of others? 1 Peter 2:18-25; John 15:20-25; 1 Peter 3:16-18.
6. Did Jesus always please God? John 8:28-56 The answers are in the texts.
7. Jesus showed Himself to be the great I AM, the One who told Moses, and all the prophets, the laws, and statutes, and ordinances of the old testament. In the old testament intoxication was forbidden, except as anesthesia, due to pain. Did Jesus commit purgery, tell the prophets one thing then, later to contradict them? That would be hypocrisy and living a lie. ( Does the person spoken of in Isaiah 53:1-12, sound like a hypocrite and a liar?)
When the old-time animal sacrifices were offered to God, by repentant people; were they blemished sacrifices? Exodus 12:5; Leviticus 4:32, 9:3, 14:10, 23:12, Numbers 6:14; Ezekiel 46:13. What do these texts say?

Can an unsanctified, unholy thing, some thing that is supposed to be free from all blemish and imperfection, some how hallow (make holy), cleanse, and sanctify anything when it could not even take care of its self to stay blemish free? Exodus 29:1; Leviticus 4:3, 23, 28, 32; 5:15, 18; 6:6; 9:2
No priest(ancient minister) with a blemish could represent the Lord before the people, nor the people before the Lords alter inside the ancient tabernacle. Leviticus 21:17, 18, 20, 21, 23. In the tabernacle before the alter and the vail, was the place the shed blood of the sacrifice for sin was taken to make atonement for sin. These animal sacrifices prefigured Jesus death for us. God was extremely particular with all the details, because each detail revealed great eternal spiritual truths, about the plan of salvation and Christ our only hope. Only the most perfect blemish free sacrifices was acceptable to offer to God. These animal sacrifices could only testify of a living obedient faith in the salvation provided by a perfect sinless Christ Who would Himself make atonement for repentant obedient sinners.

Hebrews 9:1-24.
I don't expect folks to grasp all the details of Hebrews immediately. This much I must make plain! Sin can not and never will be able to make atonement for other sinners. It is unable to cleanse them, and give them life, and spiritual restoration to be reconciled unto Gods' ways.

Had Jesus sinned, He could not be the Saviour, He would need a Saviour. To be the Saviour He Had to be God in human flesh, and sinless and perfect, in order to be the substitute and sacrifice for sinful weak mankind. He must be sinless and perfect in body, mind, spirit, pure holy and blameless and unreprovable before God for all our sakes. Jesus received everything, to give to us, by permission and gift of the Heavenly Father. John 8:27.

To accuse Jesus of sin, even ignorantly is to accuse the Father of having darkness in Him. Ephesians 5:11; 1 John 1:5.

It is assumed that this is not intentional, but done because of a lack of understanding of the issues involved.

Simon Peter did the same thing ( see Matthew 17:24-27). Jesus being the Divine owner and Lord of the Temple (Church), was exempt from the temple tax. This tribute money was yearly paid for the upkeep of the temple and reminder of Gods' ownership of the people. Jesus being God in human flesh was not owned by anyone. He is the owner! Poor blabber mouthed Peter spoke before he understood the issues, but Jesus loved him so, and gently set him straight. He even gave us a good example to follow. He convinced Simon Peter of His Deity again when He told Peter to go fishing, with just a hook on a line (no bait was mentioned), and take the money out of the fishes' mouth and pay for both of them. Here is Jesus's true position read Psalms 50:10-12. The sinless, perfect owner of the whole of creation.

Jesus also created something at Cana. The story is in John chapter 2:1-11 and John 4:46. Jesus made wine from water by miracle. Did Jesus ever tempt anyone to sin? James 1:12-18. Does Jesus always lead people away from sin? John 5:14; John 8:11. Then if Jesus lead away from sin, has He ever changed? Psalms 89:34; Malachi 3:6; Hebrews 13:8.

How detailed is the Bibles' explanations regarding wine?

How many words for wine are in the Bible and how are they used?

Lets' look at the issues, regarding wine and the warnings of Gods' prophets.

Who called people to Him and Made them Prophets?

2Ki 17:13 Yet the LORD testified against Israel, and
against Judah, by all the prophets, and by all the seers,
saying, Turn ye from your evil ways, and keep my
commandments and my statutes, according to all the law
which I commanded your fathers, and which I sent to you by
my servants the prophets.

Jer 7:25 Since the day that your fathers came forth out of
the land of Egypt unto this day I have even sent unto you
all my servants the prophets, daily rising up early and
sending them:

Jer 29:19 Because they have not hearkened to my words,
saith the LORD, which I sent unto them by my servants the
prophets, rising up early and sending them; but ye would
not hear, saith the LORD.

Jer 35:15 I have sent also unto you all my servants the
prophets, rising up early and sending them, saying, Return
ye now every man from his evil way, and amend your doings,
and go not after other gods to serve them, and ye shall
dwell in the land which I have given to you and to your
fathers: but ye have not inclined your ear, nor hearkened
unto me.

Jer 44:4 Howbeit I sent unto you all my servants the
prophets, rising early and sending them, saying, Oh, do
not this abominable thing that I hate.

Mt 23:37 O Jerusalem, Jerusalem, thou that killest the
prophets, and stonest them which are sent unto thee, how
often would I have gathered thy children together, even as a
hen gathereth her chickens under her wings, and ye would
not!

Lu 13:34 O Jerusalem, Jerusalem, which killest the
prophets, and stonest them that are sent unto thee; how
often would I have gathered thy children together, as a hen
doth gather her brood under her wings, and ye would not!

Zec 1:6 But my words and my statutes, which I commanded my
servants the prophets, did they not take hold of your
fathers? and they returned and said, Like as the LORD of
hosts thought to do unto us, according to our ways, and
according to our doings, so hath he dealt with us.

Mt 23:34 Wherefore, behold, I send unto you prophets, and
wise men, and scribes: and some of them ye shall kill and
crucify; and some of them shall ye scourge in your
synagogues, and persecute them from city to city:

Lu 1:70 As he spake by the mouth of his holy prophets,
which have been since the world began:

Lu 11:49 Therefore also said the wisdom of God, I will
send them prophets and apostles, and some of them they
shall slay and persecute:

The many texts identify Jesus in the Old Testament and New Testament, as the Lord who sends the prophets. The next question is this. How do you tell a true prophet from a false one?

false prophets:
Revelation 19:20-they deceive

Jeremiah 23:10-17-they commend evil (when God condemns it.) and rebuke good (when God commands that very thing.).

Jeremiah 23:16-32; 28:15-17; 29:8,9 - They teach lies and rebellion against God and His word. They ignore Gods' Word when it suits them.

THE BIBLES' TESTS OF A TRUE PROPHET
Isaiah 8:20 - agrees with all the Bible.

Malachi 4:5 - God sends them, they don't hid it, or His law.(notice the time frame, before second coming.)

Daniel 10:8, 9, 16-18 verse 8. no more strength, verse 9. trance state, verses 16-18. 16. no strength but able to speak, 17. no breathing (no air in the lungs at all) yet speech is not impaired, 19. supernaturally strengthened.

2 Peter 1:20,21 - 20. scripture interprets its self always. 21. Holy people were moved by God and wrote down His moving as they saw His truths, as He revealed them. They did not ask to be prophets.

1 Corinthians 14:3 - They speak and write in an understandable way. They build peoples' faith up in God, exhort people to follow God on His terms, and comfort people with Gods promises, and chastisements coupled with hope.

Numbers 12:6-8 - They are spoken to by God in visions and dreams.

Job 33:14,15 - Non prophets don't hear Gods audible voice as a regular communication from God. Prophets have dreams and visions, both awake(vision)and asleep(dream).

Deuteronomy 18:22 - A true prophets words are from God and come to pass. God knows what He is about to do. If the words are false, the person is not a prophet.

Ezra 5:1 - They prophecy in Gods' name.

Jeremiah 23:28 - They have the message of God, not their own words.

Jeremiah 28:9 - What they saw comes to pass as proof they are sent of the Lord.

What was the penalty for both disobedient and false prophets, and disobedient and false teachers?
Deuteronomy 13:1-13; Deuteronomy 18:20; 1 Kings 13:1-31; Isaiah 9:15-20; 28:7-20; Jeremiah 6:13-21; 8:5-13; 23:9-18.

Is that penalty still in force? Revelation 16:13; 19:11-21; 20:10.

Did God say about anything that caused intoxication, and especially fermented wine? Leviticus 10:8-11; Deuteronomy 29:1-6; Judges 13:2-5 & 13-14; Proverbs 19:27-29; Proverbs 20:1; Proverbs 31:4,5;
Proverbs 23:20-35; Hosea 7:1-16; 1 Peter 4:3.

Temperance means not following carnal lusts of any kind, and being not excessive, but moderate in all that is good. A good definition of carnal is simply not converted.(spiritual carnalness), being without Gods' motives inside. (physical carnalness), carnal a term used to differentiate between spiritual things, and physical things.

What does God say about being temperate? 1 Corinthians 9:25-27; Titus 1:6-9; Titus 2:1-2.

What does God say about being sober? 2 Corinthians 5:13-15; 1 Thessalonians 5:1-9; 1 Timothy 3:2,3; 1 Timothy 3:7-11; Titus 2:6,7; 1 Peter 1:12-19; 1 Peter 4:7,8; 1 Peter 5:6-10.

Drunken means to be in a state of intoxication, not just incapacitated. Tipsy is also drunken, as well as "passed out". Passed out is just tipsiness carried to its extreme. Both sides of the extremes are both intoxication or drunkenness.

What does the Bible say about drunkenness? Genesis 9:20-29; Deuteronomy 21:18-21, 29:5, 6, 19-20; 1 Samuel 1:12-16, 25:36-38; Proverbs 23:17-22, 26:9; Ecclesiastes 10:17; Isaiah 28:1-3, 63:6; Jeremiah 25:27, 48:26, 51:7, 39, 57; Ezekiel 23:32-39; Joel 1:4-5; Nahum 1:7-10; Habakkuk 2:15-17; Matthew 24:48-51; Luke 12:44-48, 21:33-36; Romans 13:11-14; 1 Corinthians 6:9-11; Galatians 5:19-25; Ephesians 5:15-18. (There are many more texts that cover the principles involved in intoxication, both physical and spiritual.)

Now that you have seen the Bibles many texts on intoxication and intemperance (drunkenness), is it clear that the Bible says all intemperance and intoxication is sin?

Sin is the transgression of the law of God. 1 John 3:3-5. Jesus never broke any of the Ten Commandments. "Thou shalt not kill."
This is the sixth commandment.

To kill or cause to be killed. This would include beguiling a person or persons into sin, causing them to be self deceived and destroy themselves. This is linked to "offend", which means to apostatize or turn away from God.

<2228> having <2192> two <1417> feet <4228> to be cast <906>
into <1519> hell <1067>, into <1519> the fire <4442> that
never <3756> shall be quenched <762>:

Mr 9:47 And if <1437> thine <4675> eye <3788> offend
<4624> thee, pluck <1544> it out: it is better <2570> for
thee to enter <1525> into <1519> the kingdom <932> of God
<2316> with one <3442> eye <3442>, than <2228> having <2192>
two <1417> eyes <3788> to be cast <906> into <1519> hell
<1067> fire <4442>:

Lu 17:2 It were better <3081> for him that a millstone
<3658> were hanged <4029> about <4012> his neck <5137>, and
he cast <4496> into <1519> the sea <2281>, than <2228> that
he should offend <4624> one <1520> of these <5130> little
<3398> ones.

1Co 8:13 Wherefore <1355>, if <1487> meat <1033> make
<4624> my brother <80> to offend <4624>, I will eat <5315>
no <3364> flesh <2907> while the world <165> standeth, lest
<3361> I make <4624> my brother <80> to offend <4624>.

Jas 2:10 For whosoever <3748> shall keep <5083> the whole
<3650> law <3551>, and yet offend <4417> in one <1520>
point, he is guilty <1777> of all <3956>.

Jas 3:2 For in many <4183> things we offend <4417> all
<537>. If <1487> any <1536> man offend <4417> not in word
<3056>, the same <3778> is a perfect <5046> man <435>,
and able <1415> also <2532> to bridle <5468> the whole

The Bible condemns as sin, the practice of causing anyone to fail, stumble, and sin. Would God ever tempt a person to sin? James 1;12-21(notice verse 13). When anyone is intoxicated, they are physically and spiritually defiled. Revelation 21:27, speaking about the people who will go to The New Jerusalem(Heaven), says nothing that is defiled or defiles will ever enter Heaven. Revelation 21:17, 22:15 both these verses say that all things that lie and make lies will not enter heaven. In Proverbs 20:1 Solomon said that wine and strong drink deceives(lies)to people, and causes their deception. Revelation 21:17, 22:15 say this fermented intoxicating deceiving liar (fermented wine and strong drink-liquor), will be classed with all other deceivers and deceptions.

fermentation-symbol of change( usually a symbol of sin, and sinful changes that spread from within, till sin fills the person, place, or thing.) When this fermentation is used to illustrate the process of the gospel to change the heart, then the nature of leaven, the agent of fermentation is used to illustrate the internal working of growing up in Christ. The largest bulk of the contexts of the illustration of fermentation is to represent the equally internal process of sin.

Ex 12:15 Seven <07651> days <03117> shall ye eat <0398>
unleavened <04682> bread; even <0389> the first <07223> day
<03117> ye shall put <07673> away leaven <07603> out of your
houses <01004>: for whosoever eateth <0398> leavened <02557>
bread from the first <07223> day <03117> until <05704> the
seventh <07637> day <03117>, that soul <05315> shall be cut
<03772> off from Israel <03478>.

Ex 12:19 Seven <07651> days <03117> shall there be no
<03808> leaven <07603> found <04672> in your houses <01004>:
for whosoever eateth <0398> that which is leavened <02557>,
even that soul <05315> shall be cut <03772> off from the
congregation <05712> of Israel <03478>, whether he be a
stranger <01616>, or born <0249> in the land <0776>.

Ex 13:7 Unleavened <04682> bread shall be eaten <0398>
seven <07651> days <03117>; and there shall no <03808>
leavened <02557> bread be seen <07200> with thee, neither
<03808> shall there be leaven <07603> seen <07200> with thee
in all <03605> thy quarters <01366>.

Ex 34:25 Thou shalt not offer <07819> the blood <01818> of
my sacrifice <02077> with leaven <02557>; neither shall the
sacrifice <02077> of the feast <02282> of the passover
<06453> be left <03885> unto the morning <01242>.

Le 2:11 No <03808> meat offering <04503>, which <0834> ye
shall bring <07126> unto the LORD <03068>, shall be made
<06213> with leaven <02557>: for ye shall burn <06999> no
<03808> leaven <07603>, nor any <03605> honey <01706>, in
any <03605> offering of the LORD <03068> made by fire.

Le 6:17 It shall not be baken <0644> with leaven <02557>.
I have given <05414> it unto them for their portion
<02506> of my offerings made by fire; it is most <06944>
holy <06944>, as is the sin <02403> offering, and as the
trespass <0817> offering.

Le 10:12 And Moses <04872> spake <01696> unto Aaron
<0175>, and unto Eleazar <0499> and unto Ithamar <0385>, his
sons <01121> that were left <03498>, Take <03947> the meat
offering <04503> that remaineth <03498> of the offerings of
the LORD <03068> made by fire, and eat <0398> it without
<04682> leaven <04682> beside <0681> the altar <04196>: for
it is most <06944> holy <06944>:

Le 23:17 Ye shall bring <0935> out of your habitations
<04186> two <08147> wave <08573> loaves <03899> of two
<08147> tenth <06241> deals: they shall be of fine flour
<05560>; they shall be baken <0644> with leaven <02557>;
they are the firstfruits <01061> unto the LORD <03068>.

Am 4:5 And offer <06999> a sacrifice of thanksgiving
<08426> with leaven <02557>, and proclaim <07121> and
publish <08085> the free <05071> offerings: for this <03651>
liketh <0157> you, O ye children <01121> of Israel <03478>,
saith <05001> the Lord <0136> GOD <03069>.

Mt 13:33 Another <243> parable <3850> spake <2980> he unto
them; The kingdom <932> of heaven <3772> is like <3664> unto
leaven <2219>, which <3739> a woman <1135> took <2983>, and
hid <1470> in three <5140> measures <4568> of meal <224>,
till <2193> the whole <3650> was leavened <2220>.
Mt 16:6 Then <1161> Jesus <2424> said <2036> unto them,
Take heed <3708> and beware <4337> of the leaven <2219> of
the Pharisees <5330> and of the Sadducees <4523>.

Mt 16:11 How <4459> is it that ye do not understand <3539>
that I spake <2036> it not to you concerning <4012> bread
<740>, that ye should beware <4337> of the leaven <2219> of
the Pharisees <5330> and of the Sadducees <4523>?

Mt 16:12 Then <5119> understood <4920> they how that he
bade <2036> them not beware <4337> of the leaven <2219> of
bread <740>, but of the doctrine <1322> of the Pharisees
<5330> and of the Sadducees <4523>.

Mr 8:15 And he charged <1291> them, saying <3004>, Take
heed <3708>, beware <991> of the leaven <2219> of the
Pharisees <5330>, and of the leaven <2219> of Herod
<2264>.

Lu 12:1 In the mean time, when there were gathered <1996>
together <1996> an innumerable <3461> multitude <3461> of
people <3793>, insomuch <5620> that they trode <2662> one
<240> upon another <240>, he began <756> to say <3004> unto
his disciples <3101> first <4412> of all, Beware <4337> ye
of the leaven <2219> of the Pharisees <5330>, which <3748>
is hypocrisy <5272>.

Lu 13:21 It is like <3664> leaven <2219>, which <3739> a
woman <1135> took <2983> and hid <1470> in three <5140>
measures <4568> of meal <224>, till <2193> the whole <3650>
was leavened <2220>.

1Co 5:6 Your <5216> glorying <2745> is not good <2570>.
Know <1492> ye not that a little <3398> leaven <2219>
leaveneth <2220> the whole <3650> lump <5445>?

1Co 5:7 Purge <1571> out therefore <3767> the old <3820>
leaven <2219>, that ye may be a new <3501> lump <5445>, as
ye are unleavened <106>. For even <2532> Christ <5547> our
passover <3957> is sacrificed <2380> for us:

1Co 5:8 Therefore <5620> let us keep <1858> the feast
<1858>, not with old <3820> leaven <2219>, neither <3366>
with the leaven <2219> of malice <2549> and wickedness
<4189>; but with the unleavened <106> bread of sincerity
<1505> and truth <225>.Ga 5:9 A little
<3398> leaven <2219> leaveneth <2220> thewhole
